OYAKODON RECIPE

- Onion, thinly sliced

- Boneless Chicken thigh/Chicken Breast 170g

- 2 Eggs (Optional egg yolk)

- Scallions/Japanese Leek

- Dashi/Dashi powder

- Sake 1 Tbsp

- Mirin 2 Tbsp

- Soy Sauce 2 Tbsp

- Water ~150ml

- Togarashi, Garnish

Ingredients:

1. Prep all onions and scallions, thinly sliced

2. Dice chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces

3. Mix dashi powder, sake, mirin and water in a bowl

4. Pour all ingredients into a pan and begin to simmer

5. Simmer till chicken is fully cooked (~6-7 mins), turn off heat & whisk in two eggs until slightly cooked.

6. Serve on top of rice, optionally garnish with egg yolk and togarashi!

7. Enjoy!
